Niresh Eliatamby has been associated with Sri Lanka’s travel and hospitality industries for more than two decades. He is a Visiting Lecturer for two of London Metropolitan University’s programmes at its Sri Lanka franchise campus, ESOFT – BA (Hons) programme in Travel & Tourism Management and BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management. He has closely supported the marketing and corporate communications of SriLankan Airlines for many years, and was Resident Editor of Destination Sri Lanka tourism magazine in 1999-2000. Niresh wrote the first book in this series ‘Worth Protecting’ which spotlighted conservation efforts in Sri Lanka’s plantation sector. He is the author of several research- oriented publications and more than 20,000 articles in newspapers and magazines.
