Worth Protecting is the Biodiversity Sri Lanka’s first publication. Worth Protecting gives you a glimpse into biodiversity conservation efforts and best practices undertaken by our members with in the plantations sector. The rich biodiversity of Sri Lanka’s wet-zone shines through in this Compendium of stories ranging from the smallest species of lichens to pioneering climate change research stations. We aim to mainstream the importance of biodiversity conservation into the private sector and this Compendium serves as an exemplary example of this, which we hope will serve as an inspiration to all that development does not have to intimate destruction of our natural landscapes.
