The Mountain Road

The Mountain Road is a book by Chirstine Wilson.

Christine, like her father, was a prolific author. Her first novel, The Bitter Berry, was penned during her convalescence following a serious spinal injury sustained in a motorcar accident. This book was subsequently translated into Sinhala under the title Thiththa Kopi.

Christine authored three novels: The Bitter Berry, The Mountain Road, and I Am The Wings. She also wrote a biography of her father, Dr. R. L. Spittel, entitled Surgeon of the Wilderness, as well as a cookbook, Secrets of Eastern Cooking, and numerous travel articles. She was honoured as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
